Job summary

LOTUS THAI RESTAURANT (KPT) PTE. LTD. in the East Region of Singapore invites applicants for a Cook / Chef role available on a full-time or part-time basis.

The position requires wok cooking, maintaining clean utensils and work areas, and ordering raw materials for the kitchen. You will assist in stock takes, storage of stock, and follow the supervisor's directions. You will work as a team with the kitchen crew and service staff, bringing a self-driven, hardworking attitude to a dynamic kitchen

Qualifications

• Willing to use a wok
• Keep utensils and work area clean
• Order raw materials and supplies for the kitchen
• Assist in stock takes and storage of stock
• Take orders from supervisor in charge
• Work as a team with crew members inside and outside the kitchen
• Self-driven, hardworking and proactive

Responsibilities

• Cook with wok as needed and prepare dishes according to kitchen standards
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness and food safety
• Assist in receiving and storing stock
• Participate in stock takes and inventory control
• Support kitchen operations and communicate with supervisor
