Job summary

buildbridge partners pte. ltd. in Singapore is seeking an exceptional Chief Operating Officer to lead data centre operations and drive construction and engineering excellence across Southeast Asia.

This strategic leadership role will be instrumental in scaling our data centre network and operational capabilities during an exciting period of regional expansion. As COO, you will oversee all internal operations, manage multi-site facilities, and lead high-performing teams to deliver world-class

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive leadership in multi-site data centre operations.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in MEP Eng, Building Services, or related engineering.
• Proven track record delivering data centre construction projects (new-build & renovation).
• Strong technical expertise in data centre infrastructure (power, HVAC, cooling).
• Deep knowledge of MEP systems and hyperscale data centre standards.
• Experience managing large operational budgets and P&L responsibility.
• Direct DLC, AI-optimised data centres, IT infra and networks.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for operational aspects of multi-site data centre facilities in SEA.
• Oversee construction and engineering functions, delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Drive efficiency and continuous improvement across facilities.
• Lead and develop cross-functional teams across operations, engineering, construction and facilities management.
• Manage significant operational budgets and optimize resource allocation.
• Establish hyperscale operational standards aligned with industry best practices.
• Champion innovations in data centre technologies, including AI and advanced cooling.
• Build relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and partners.
• Ensure regulatory, safety and environmental compliance.
• Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with growth objectives.
