LITEON Singapore invites applications for a research-driven role in its Cloud Infrastructure Platform and Solutions (CIPS) Research Team. You will contribute to early-stage projects, collaborating with academia, suppliers, customers, and partners to deliver proof-of-concept designs.

The role emphasizes control theory, MATLAB/Simulink modeling, and embedded software on DSPs/MCUs/FPGA for energy systems and power electronics. Strong communication and innovation are essential.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s in Electrical/Electronic/Control Engineering or related field.
• Strong background in control theory, digital control and signal processing.
• Understanding of power electronics architectures and control methods.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, embedded software (C/C++), and version control.

Responsibilities

• Literature reviews and studies on control systems for power converters and energy systems.
• Identify problems and market gaps to guide further research work.
• Design, model, and simulate advanced control algorithms.
• Implement control software on DSPs, MCUs, or FPGAs.
• Integrate real-time diagnostics and control loops with sensors and interfaces.
• Produce research reports, design guides, patents, and performance reports.
