Job summary

MCI CONSULTING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Contract Lawyer to support contract review, negotiations and procurement administration at its Outram Park location.

The role focuses on commercial agreements, data-sharing arrangements, IP matters and technology-related contracting, with an emphasis on risk mitigation and compliance. You will coordinate tender processes, manage legal matter trackers and collaborate with panel law firms.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognized law degree from a Commonwealth jurisdiction.
• At least 1 year post-qualification experience in data protection, data-sharing arrangements, IP matters and technology-related contracting.
• Good understanding of procurement processes, tender administration and contract management; public-sector procurement exposure is a plus.
• Ability to engage effectively with both legal and non-legal stakeholders.
• Strong organisational and project coordination skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Contract Review & Legal Advisory Support: review, draft and negotiate commercial agreements including service agreements, procurement contracts, MOUs, NDAs, data-sharing agreements and variation agreements.
• Prepare contract mark-ups, issue lists and negotiation comments.
• Review deviations from approved templates and standard positions; identify risks and mitigation measures.
