Job summary

MCI Career Services Pte Ltd is seeking a qualified legal professional to review, draft and negotiate commercial and procurement agreements, with a focus on data protection and technology contracts.

You will provide legal advisory support, handle regulatory research, and coordinate across Legal, Procurement and Finance to manage matters, deadlines and reporting. A Commonwealth-law degree and 1+ year PQE are preferred.

Qualifications

• Recognised law degree from a Commonwealth jurisdiction.
• Minimum 1 year PQE involving data protection, data-sharing, IP or technology contracting.
• Qualified in commercial contracts, review, drafting and negotiation.
• Understanding of procurement processes, tender administration and contract management.
• Strong legal research, analytical and risk-assessment skills.
• Excellent organisational and administrative capabilities including matter tracking and reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication with cross-functional coordination across Legal, Procurement, Finance and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft and negotiate commercial and procurement agreements; identify risks and propose mitigations.
• Provide legal advisory support via research, notes, stakeholder communications and escalation of high-risk matters.
• Support procurement and contract management: tenders, variations, extensions, novation and terminations and panel tender administration.
• Manage legal operations: matter/deadline tracking, repositories, templates, version control, coordination and reporting.
