Job summary

Qualifications

• Recognized law degree from a Commonwealth jurisdiction.
• At least 1 year PQE involving data protection, data-sharing, IP or technology-related contracting.
• Experience in commercial contracts, review, drafting and negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft and negotiate commercial and procurement agreements, including service agreements, MOUs, NDAs, variations and data-sharing agreements, identifying risks and recommending practical mitigation measures.
• Provide legal advisory support through legal and regulatory research, preparation of legal notes and stakeholder communications, and escalation of novel or high-risk matters where required.
• Support procurement and contract management activities, including tenders, contract variations, extensions, novation and terminations, as well as end-to-end administration of panel law firm tender exercises.
• Manage legal operations, including matter and deadline tracking, document repositories, templates and version control, stakeholder coordination, action follow-ups and periodic reporting.
