Job summary

BANEN ASSOCIATES PTE. LTD. is seeking a Contracts Manager to lead commercial and contractual management on major LTA MRT Station and tunnelling projects in Singapore. You will oversee contract administration, budgets and forecasting, ensuring compliance with main contracts and subcontracts.

The role requires strong QS experience in civil infrastructure, plus excellent negotiation and leadership skills to guide the commercial team through variations, EOTs and final accounts.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Strong Quantity Surveying / Contracts experience within the civil construction industry.
• Experience in LTA MRT, rail, tunnelling or major civil infrastructure projects will be highly advantageous.
• Main Contractor experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial and contractual management across major LTA MRT and civil infrastructure projects.
• Manage contract administration, project budgets, cost control, forecasting and commercial reporting.
• Administer main contracts and subcontracts, including variations, claims, EOT and final accounts.
• Manage procurement, tender evaluation, negotiation and award of subcontract packages.
• Monitor project commercial performance and identify contractual and financial risks.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project teams on contractual and commercial matters.
• Lead and provide guidance to Quantity Surveyors and commercial team members.
