Job summary

Banen Associates PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support construction execution and site coordination on large-scale MRT infrastructure projects in Singapore.

You will oversee daily site operations, coordinate with consultants and subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality on site. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and 2–4 years of hands-on MRT or tunnelling experience with a main contractor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 2–4 years of experience with Main Contractors on civil infrastructure or LTA MRT projects in Singapore.
• Hands-on MRT station construction, tunnelling works, deep excavation, diaphragm wall construction, or underground structures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily site operations for MRT infrastructure projects including underground stations, tunnel structures, and major civil works.
• Support Project Managers in planning, sequencing, and execution of construction activities to ensure works are delivered on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate closely with consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to resolve technical and construction issues.
• Supervise and monitor construction activities including diaphragm wall works, deep excavation, foundation systems, and reinforced concrete structures.
• Ensure compliance with LTA project specifications, engineering standards, and safety regulations.
• Conduct site inspections, monitor work progress, and ensure quality control standards are maintained.
• Assist in preparation of technical submissions, method statements, and construction documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and site staff.

As part of ongoing MRT station and tunnelling works, we are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support construction execution and site coordination on large-scale infrastructure projects.

Position: Project Engineer

Salary: SGD 5,500 - SGD 7,500 (Highly Negotiable)

Company Type: Prominent A1 Main Contractor

Projects: Large-Scale LTA MRT Infrastructure Projects (Stations, Tunnels, Underground Works)

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2-4 years of experience with Main Contractors on civil infrastructure or LTA MRT projects in Singapore.
• Hands-on experience in MRT station construction, tunnelling works, deep excavation, diaphragm wall construction, or underground structures.
• Strong understanding of LTA project requirements, construction methods, and safety regulations.
• Good leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
