Job summary

BANEN ASSOCIATES PTE. LTD. is seeking a Project Engineer in Singapore to oversee daily site operations on major MRT infrastructure works, including underground stations and tunnel structures.

The role requires 2–4 years with main contractors on civil projects, strong leadership, and hands‑on experience with diaphragms, deep excavations, and reinforced concrete. Legal work rights in Singapore are a must.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience with Main Contractors on civil infrastructure or LTA MRT projects in Singapore.
• Hands-on MRT station construction, tunnelling works, deep excavation, diaphragm wall construction, or underground structures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily site operations for MRT infrastructure projects including underground stations, tunnel structures, and major civil works.
• Support Project Managers in planning, sequencing, and execution of construction activities to ensure works are delivered on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate closely with consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to resolve technical and construction issues.
• Supervise and monitor construction activities including diaphragm wall works, deep excavation, foundation systems, and reinforced concrete structures.
• Ensure compliance with LTA project specifications, engineering standards, and safety regulations.
• Conduct site inspections, monitor work progress, and ensure quality control standards are maintained.
• Assist in preparation of technical submissions, method statements, and construction documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and site staff.
