Job summary

You will review and negotiate contracts, monitor costs, and manage risk throughout the project lifecycle. Ideal candidates have a degree in Quantity Surveying or related field, 3–5 years in contracts management within construction or engineering, and strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

An established electrical engineering company supporting data centre and commercial developments across Singapore and Malaysia is seeking a Contracts & Procurement Manager (M&E) to strengthen its commercial and contractual operations.

This role is suited to professionals with construction or engineering contracts experience who are confident in negotiations, commercial assessments and managing contractual risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, negotiate and administer contracts, subcontracts, supply agreements and variation orders.
• Manage tender documentation, supplier evaluations and commercial assessments.
• Monitor project costs, contractual obligations, variations and commercial risks.
• Resolve contractual matters in collaboration with project, engineering, procurement and legal teams.
• Maintain contract records, payment documentation, insurance policies and performance bonds.
• Oversee contractual close-out and support post-project reviews.

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Law, Business Administration or a related discipline; diploma holders with relevant experience may also be considered.
• 3-5 years of contracts management experience in construction or engineering.
• Electrical engineering project experience preferred; data centre or commercial project exposure is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Singapore construction regulations and applicable BCA requirements.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; knowledge of electrical engineering concepts is an advantage.
