Job summary

Lim Wen Heng Construction is seeking a Contract Manager in Singapore to oversee contractual matters, tendering and procurement for ongoing projects. You will monitor costs, budgets and cash flow while leading claims, variations and supplier awards.

The role requires a degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years of hands-on experience in the Singapore construction industry, with a keen eye for contract terms and risk management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as Contract Manager in Singapore construction.
• Good knowledge of standard contract conditions for construction projects.
• Meticulous, diligent and good work ethics.

Responsibilities

• Perform all contractual matters, tendering and procurements procedures including contracts, cost control, cashflow and budgeting.
• Provide supervisory role over contractual matters and procurement processes.
• Advise on equitable adjustments, disputes and contract claims.
• Oversee budget monitoring, cash-flow and changes in design/construction work.
• Manage main contract progress claims, subcontract payments and variation orders.
• Coordinate with project team to ensure timely award of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure finalization of main and subcontract contracts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform all contractual matter, tendering and procurements procedures (i.e. contracts, cost control, cashflow, project budgeting, project administrations, claims, cost analysis, etc).
• Provide supervisory role to all contractual matter, tendering and procurements procedures (i.e. contracts, cost control, cashflow, project budgeting, project administrations, claims, cost analysis, etc
• Advise and resolve requests for equitable adjustment, contract disputes and contract claims
• Oversee the preparation and monitoring of project cost budget, cash-flow cash-flow for project, track changes in design/construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly
• Oversee and manage main contract progress claim, subcontract payment and variation orders
• Work closely with the project team to ensure timely award of subcontractors and suppliers
• Ensure timely finalization of main and subcontract
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
