Job summary

Achieve Group's client, a renowned building & construction firm, seeks an Assistant Contracts Manager to provide commercial and contractual support to the project team. The role oversees main contract and subcontractor matters, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met.

The ideal candidate has a degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering with at least 10 years of relevant experience with a main contractor, preferably in major infrastructure or rail

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of contract administration, claims, variations and contract negotiation.
• Experience with main contractor and major infrastructure or rail projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial and contractual support to the project team on matters relating to the main contract and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with internal project stakeholders to ensure subcontract obligations, deliverables and key milestones are properly managed.
• Review contractual requirements, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies and contractual obligations.
• Manage variations, change control and related commercial negotiations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and submit monthly progress claims, including the necessary supporting documentation, for assessment and certification.
