Job summary

Harmony New Green Construction (Singapore) PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned professional to manage quantity takeoffs, site measurements and contract administration on major projects.

You will verify completed works on site, prepare BOQ and cost estimates, and coordinate with clients, consultants and subcontractors to resolve variation orders and claims. The role requires strong knowledge of contract conditions, BOQ and claim management, proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel, and fluency in English

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Civil Engineering or construction-related disciplines.
• Minimum 35 years working experience in construction industry, familiar with contract administration, quantity measurement, progress claim and final account work.
• Good knowledge of construction contract conditions, BOQ, variation order and claim management.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel; able to read construction drawings accurately.
• Good written & verbal communication in English and Chinese, able to liaise with various stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented, strong analytical and negotiation skill, able to work under tight project deadline.
• Understand site construction process, willing to perform site inspection and measurement.
• Need to learn and master the domestic business management requirements and business system usage of the parent company (China).

Responsibilities

• Conduction quantity takeoff, site measurement and verify completed works on site.
• Administer project contracts, review contract terms, handle variation orders, progress claims and payment certification for main contractor and subcontractors.
• Prepare BOQ, cost estimation, maintain measurement & payment ledger, follow up project final accounts.
• Liaise with client, consultant, subcontractors on contractual matters, variation evaluation and claims negotiation.
• Review construction drawings and specifications, check site actual quantity against contract documents.
• Prepare contractual correspondence, maintain commercial documents filing.
• Cooperate with survey team for site measurement data cross-verification, ensure measurement accuracy.
• Comply with site WSH requirements and complete other assigned tasks.
