Job summary

Lam Research in Singapore is seeking a Contract Supplier/Vendor QA Engineer (1 year) to ensure suppliers produce parts that meet Lam’s design intent, quality requirements and delivery needs. You will own supplier qualification, process readiness, quality performance and issue resolution across NPI and high-volume manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in supplier engineering, manufacturing engineering or quality engineering.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (~20%).

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier qualification activities for new & existing suppliers per Lam procedures.
• Assess supplier capability, process maturity and quality systems before release to production.
• Define and lock the Supplier Process of Record (POR) with suppliers and Lam engineering.
• Ensure process changes are controlled and approved through Lam change control.
• Drive PFMEA, control plans, and critical feature monitoring at suppliers.
• Lead resolution of supplier quality issues including NCRs and MRB dispositions.
• Coordinate RCCA and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Act as technical owner for containment and recovery actions impacting manufacturing and customers.
• Collaborate with Product Group Engineering on design intent and tolerances.
• Support sourcing decisions with technical assessments and supplier capability input.
• Monitor supplier quality, yield, delivery and process stability via scorecards.
