Lam Research in Singapore seeks a Senior Field Process Engineer to support customer installations and DOE-driven process improvements on-site. You will engage with customers, plan capacity add projects, and work with product teams to optimize hardware and processing steps.

The role requires hands-on experience in fab environments, strong analytical skills, and willingness for overseas assignments. Hybrid and remote-facilitated collaboration are described as part of Lam’s flexible work model.

Qualificações

• PhD in Electronics, Chemistry, Physics, Material Science, or related field; or Masters of Science with 3+ years of relevant work experience; or Bachelors of Science with 5+ years of work experience.
• Systematic and analytical mindset.
• Good communication and interpersonal relations skill.
• Able to actively engage customers on technical solutions.
• Able to work in Fab environment and perform standby duties.
• Willing to support short term, overseas assignment.

Responsabilidades

• Work with Account team and customers to understand technology roadmaps, process flow, inflection points, requirements and business issues; identify value-add opportunities.
• Execute penetration and defense strategy with account teams; coordinate with Global Product Group on product demonstrations.
• Perform startup of capacity add Lam systems; match results to existing systems and applications.
• Design and complete simple DOE evaluations to characterize process windows for installations or modifications.
• Conduct experiments, collect data, and generate reports for internal and external distribution.
• Develop new processes for new and existing customer applications.
• Represent the company to customers; inform on product lines and services for new needs.
• Develop good customer relations during start-up and troubleshooting.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition; ensure safety at site.
