Job summary

PERSOL at Changi Airport is seeking a diligent finance professional for a 6-month contract to review inter-company balances, consolidate data from ERP, and prepare reconciliation schedules for dormant entities and liquidation activities.

You will liaise with tax consultants, auditors, banks, and service providers to support tax compliance and statutory reporting, and you will work with Excel and Dynamics 365 BC to ensure accurate financial records.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, preferably with exposure to financial reporting, inter-company accounting, tax compliance, treasury, or corporate restructuring and liquidation activities.
• Good understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and reconciliation processes.
• Experience in preparing statutory financial statements and supporting tax compliance activities will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to extract, analyse, and interpret financial data accurately.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC (BC) or other ERP systems will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review, reconcile, and resolve inter-company balances across multiple entities to support corporate liquidation activities.
• Extract, analyse, and consolidate accounting data from ERP systems and financial records to prepare accurate financial schedules and supporting documentation.
• Prepare reconciliation schedules, working papers, and supporting documents to facilitate inter-company settlements.
• Coordinate with internal finance teams to validate outstanding balances, investigate discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution.
• Liaise with external stakeholders, including tax consultants, auditors, banks, and corporate service providers, to facilitate the execution of financial and statutory transactions.
• Support the preparation of documentation required for corporate liquidation, tax health checks, tax audits, and other finance-related initiatives.
• Prepare year-end financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting schedules for dormant companies, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory reporting requirements.
• Handle month-end closing activities for dormant overseas entities, ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial records.
