Job summary

Interlocal Exim Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Accountant with 3+ years to support financial reporting, month-end closing, audits, tax compliance, cash reporting and daily accounting operations in a 12-month contract.

The role requires proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems, with SAP experience preferred. You will work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining accuracy, meeting deadlines, and contributing to process improvements and tax filings.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline, or professional accounting qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems; SAP experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; able to work in a team.
• Able to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Positive attitude, proactive mindset and willingness to learn.
• Prior supervisory experience will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end closing and financial reports.
• Assist with audits, statutory accounts, and XBRL reporting.
• Support daily cash reporting.
• Process journal entries for rebates, claims, and expenses.
• Track foreign source income and expenses and assist with related tax filings.
• Support and review AP, AR, and fixed asset activities.
• Handle banking-related tasks.
• Participate in monthly stock counts.
• Support system implementation, improvements and process enhancements.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.
