Job summary

ST. JAMES'S PLACE INTERNATIONAL PUBLIC LIMITED COMPANY (SINGAPORE BRANCH) seeks a Senior Risk & Compliance Manager on a 3-month contract to lead risk and regulatory compliance across the Singapore Branch, ensuring adherence to MAS requirements and Group standards.

The role reports to the Principal Officer and collaborates with AME Risk & Compliance teams to maintain governance, AML/CFT controls, data protection, and regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in compliance in financial services.
• Strong Singapore life insurer regulatory knowledge.
• Experience liaising with MAS regulators.
• Knowledge of AML/CFT requirements.
• Understanding outsourcing and third-party oversight.
• Analytical, pragmatic risk and compliance judgement.
• Ability to communicate complex topics to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide risk and compliance oversight for Singapore Branch.
• Maintain governance, risk, compliance, financial crime, and data protection frameworks.
• Act as MLRO during the contract.
• Liaise with MAS and other regulators on routine matters.
• Monitor regulatory developments and advise on impact.
• Support regulatory reporting and submissions.
• Provide second-line review and guidance on business activities.
• Oversee outsourcing and third-party providers.
• Assist with investigations, incidents, and issue management.
• Contribute to governance and MI reporting for senior management.
