Job summary

gain city engineering (m&e) pte ltd seeks a Supervising Quantity Surveyor to lead an in-house team in reviewing tender specs, drawings and contracts. You will prepare Bills of Quantities, liaise with clients and consultants, and handle contract administration, variations, progress claims, and dispute resolution.

The role requires a degree or diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Building Services, with QS training as an advantage.

Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.
Training in Quantity Surveying will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage a team of in-house Quantity Surveyors to study tender specifications, drawings and conditions of contract to identify technical and commercial risks.
Prepare Bills of Quantity (BQ) for tendering and quotation submissions.
Liaise with project clients and consultants on tendering and quotation matters.
Liaise with project teams, clients, and consultants on all contract administration matters, including: tender submissions, variation orders (VOs), progress claims and payments, and contract interpretation/dispute resolution.
