Job description

Position Overview

The Content Executive (Junior) is a hands‑on production role within the Content & Creative Department. You will shoot, edit and manage photo and video content for 1-Group's portfolio of restaurants, bars, heritage venues, cafés and event spaces, helping each brand look and feel its best across social media, websites and campaigns.

You will work closely with the Content Marketing Manager, the wider Content team and the Design team, and coordinate with venue teams on shoots and event coverage.

Your employment will commence with a probationary period of three (3) months, during which your performance will be assessed against the responsibilities set out below. Upon satisfactory completion of the probationary period, your appointment will be confirmed as a permanent full‑time role.

Key Responsibilities
Content Production:
  • Produce photo and video content in line with the Content team's production schedule, covering food and beverage, interiors, people and events, to agreed brand standards and timelines.
  • Shoot and edit short‑form vertical video for platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok and Xiaohongshu (RED), following shot lists and briefs provided by the Content team.
  • Apply each brand's visual guidelines consistently, recognising that the look and tone differ across the Group's brands.
  • Keep up with content trends and platform formats relevant to hospitality and F&B, and contribute content ideas during planning and brainstorming sessions.
Event and Weekend Coverage
  • Provide event coverage as assigned, with the scope of each assignment reviewed and determined on a case‑by‑case basis.
  • Carry out scheduled weekend photo and video shoots, as venue activity, service periods and events frequently take place on weekends.
Post-Production and Design Support
  • Carry out post‑production tasks including editing, colour correction, resizing and formatting content for different platforms and channels.
  • Support the Design team with graphic artwork during peak periods and for Group‑level initiatives, as required.
Asset and Equipment Management:
  • Organise, name, tag, archive and back up all photo, video and design files in line with the Company's asset management practices, so that final, version‑controlled assets can be easily found and reused across teams.
  • Handle, maintain and track the team's camera, lighting and audio equipment responsibly, and report any damage or issues promptly.
Coordination:
  • Coordinate with venue teams on shoot timings to minimise disruption to service and guests.
  • Keep the Content Marketing Manager updated on progress, and flag potential delays or resource constraints early.
Working Arrangements:

Due to the nature of the role, which supports hospitality venues that operate and host events on weekends, this position requires weekend work for scheduled shoots and event coverage. Weekend assignments will form part of the Content team's production schedule and will be communicated in advance wherever possible. Event coverage may occasionally extend into evenings. Working hours and time‑off arrangements are governed by the Company's prevailing policies.

Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Media, Communications, Digital Design, Photography, Film or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience in photography, videography or content production. Internships, freelance work and school projects are recognised, and fresh graduates with a strong portfolio are welcome.
  • A portfolio demonstrating both photography and video work.
  • Working knowledge of photography and videography fundamentals, including composition, lighting and basic editing.
  • Proficiency in, or willingness to learn, editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Lightroom, or CapCut for quick‑turnaround social content.
  • Strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Availability to work on weekends for scheduled shoots and event coverage, and flexibility to work outside standard working hours (including evenings) when required.
  • A proactive, adaptable and team‑oriented attitude, with a willingness to learn and take direction.
Advantageous:
  • Experience shooting food, beverage, interiors or events for hospitality, F&B or lifestyle brands.
  • Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Illustrator or After Effects for simple graphics and motion work.
  • Interest in, or experience with, AI‑assisted tools for image and video editing.
  • Ability to read and write Mandarin, to support content production for Xiaohongshu (RED).
