Job summary

JIN YA CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a capable civil engineer to oversee on-site civil and structural works in Singapore.

This role requires coordinating with owners, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure projects meet schedules and specifications. The ideal candidate has a degree in civil engineering, strong knowledge of construction methods, technical drawings, and on-site management, plus excellent problem-solving and communication skills for independent and team work in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Experience in building/civil projects preferred.
• Proficient in construction methods and drawings.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise civil/structural works per schedules.
• Monitor on-site progress, quality and safety.
• Coordinate with owner, consultants, subcontractors and departments on technical/on-site matters.
• Review construction drawings and method specifications before construction.
• Conduct on-site inspections and resolve technical issues.
• Ensure works follow approved drawings, specs and safety regulations.
• Prepare progress reports and on-site documentation.
• Prepare AutoCAD drawings.

• Monitor on-site progress, quality, and safety to ensure timely project completion.
• Coordinate with the owner, consultants, subcontractors, and relevant departments on technical and on-site matters.
• Review construction drawings, construction method specifications, and workshop drawings before construction.
• Conduct on-site inspections and resolve on-site technical or construction issues.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Prepare progress reports, work plans, and on-site documentation.
• Prepare AUTO CAD drawing.

Job Requirements

• Degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• Experience in building and/or civil engineering projects is preferred.
• Proficient in construction methods, technical drawings, and on-site management.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively with the project team.
