Job summary

LXH Construction Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a Construction Project Supervisor to oversee daily site operations, ensure progress according to schedule, supervise workforce and subcontractors, and uphold safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to coordinate multiple activities on-site, read drawings, report progress, and maintain documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant discipline.
• 2-5 years of construction site supervision experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, procedures and regulations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in reporting and documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and withstand pressure.

Responsibilities

• Site & Project Management: Supervise day-to-day construction site activities and workforce; coordinate with project manager, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers; monitor schedule and progress; plan daily work and allocate resources; conduct site inspections for quality and compliance.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety rules and policies; conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings; maintain safety records and report incidents.
• Quality Control: Inspect materials, tools and work for quality; resolve onsite technical issues with engineers or consultants; ensure corrective actions for defects.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain site records including attendance, daily logs, and progress reports; prepare and submit daily/weekly progress reports; coordinate material delivery and inventory.
• Team Coordination: Supervise and guide site workers and subcontractors; ensure productivity and discipline; communicate status and issues to management.
