Qualifications

• Good knowledge of construction methods, site operations and safety practices.
• Ability to supervise workers and coordinate construction activities.
• Able to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
• Good communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction site activities to ensure work is carried out according to project plans, specifications and schedules.
• Assign tasks to workers and subcontractors, monitor their performance and ensure work is completed on time.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers and other site personnel to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor construction progress and report any delays, site issues or manpower requirements to management.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work quality meets project requirements and standards.
• Ensure all workers comply with workplace safety regulations and site safety procedures.
• Monitor the usage of construction materials, tools and equipment to minimise wastage.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, plans and specifications to guide workers on site.
• Maintain daily site records and prepare progress reports for management.
• Identify and resolve routine site issues and coordinate with relevant parties when necessary.
• Perform other construction-related supervisory duties as assigned by management.
