Job summary

VR BUILDERS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Project Coordinator to manage daily construction activities, coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers, and ensure work progresses per schedule.

The role involves monitoring site progress, conducting inspections, maintaining documentation, coordinating drawings and safety processes, handling variations, cost tracking, and supporting handover.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily construction activities and site operations.
• Coordinate between client, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and site team.
• Ensure works are carried out according to the approved schedule and project requirements.
• Monitor site progress and workmanship.
• Conduct regular site inspections and follow up on outstanding works.
• Identify site issues and coordinate the necessary rectification.
• Prepare and maintain project documents, site records and progress reports.
• Coordinate drawings, method statements, risk assessments and other required documents.
• Maintain records of site instructions, variations and approvals.
• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers for manpower, materials and deliveries.
• Follow up on material availability and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate work sequences between different trades.
• Monitor project schedule and work progress.
• Follow up on delays and coordinate recovery actions.
• Update the project team on daily and weekly progress.
• Attend site meetings and coordination meetings.
• Communicate project requirements and site instructions to the relevant teams.
• Follow up on client and consultant comments.
• Coordinate quality checks and ensure works follow approved specifications.
• Coordinate with the Safety Supervisor/WSH team on site safety requirements.
• Ensure workers follow approved method statements and safe work procedures.
• Record additional works and variations.
• Coordinate quotations and supporting documents for variation works.
• Assist the Project Manager with progress claims and project cost tracking.
• Coordinate outstanding works and defects rectification.
• Arrange inspections and follow up on approvals.
• Assist with final handover and submission of completion documents.
