Job summary

Hua Leong Group Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a senior professional to lead planning and site operations, ensuring ISO and safety compliance while coordinating with clients, authorities, consultants, QS, purchasing and subcontractors.

The role focuses on expediting works and maintaining progress. The ideal candidate has at least 7 years of project management experience in building works in Singapore, with strong knowledge of construction management, planning and contracts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of project management experience in building works in Singapore.
• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Strong knowledge in construction management, planning and contractual matters.
• Lean cost/resource management mindset; training in productivity is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Overall in-charge for Planning and Site Operation.
• Ensure ISO, safety and environment policies and procedures are complied with.
• Liaise with Client, Authorities, Consultant, QS, Purchasing and Subcontractors.
• Monitor and chase submissions & approvals for Structure, Architectural and M&E.
• Chair progress meetings and present to Client and Consultants.
• Monitor Master Programme and create micro schedules for all work trades.
• Closely monitor site progress and resolve obstructions to expedite works.
• Monitor Coordinators & Engineers and ensure all communications are transmitted to all parties.
• Perform daily site inspections to ensure work progress aligns with schedule and safety provisions.
• Conduct site meetings as and when required in regard to site issues.

• Monitor and chase Authorities submission & approval for Structure, Architectural and M&E
• Chair progress meeting and presentation to Client and Consultants
• Monitor & Comply to Master Programme and create micro schedules for all work trades

• Monitor Coordinators & Engineers and ensure all communication transmits to all parties

About you

• Recognized degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a relevant field
• Minimum 7 years of project management experience in building work in Singapore
• Good all-rounded knowledge in construction management, planning capability and contractual matters
• Adopt lean mind set to cost and resource management
• Trained in productivity, Conquas and Green Mark will be an advantage
