INTUIT RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Construction/Project Engineer for a permanent role in Tuas, Singapore.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of Oil & Gas EPC project experience preferred.
• Experience with managing contractors/subcontractors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the sourcing, evaluation and appointment of contractors and consultants.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure designs meet project and cost objectives.
• Manage project documentation including drawings, risk assessments and work procedures.
• Coordinate with contractors and clients to plan critical activities and minimise delays.
• Monitor day-to-day site activities, progress and subcontractor performance.
• Ensure safety, quality and compliance throughout project execution.
• Assist in monitoring project costs and variation orders.
• Prepare regular project progress reports for management.
• Participate in progress meetings with stakeholders.
• Ensure activities align with drawings, specifications and contractual requirements.
• Support commissioning and handover activities as required.
• Perform other project-related duties as assigned by Management.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Office Hours

Salary Package: Up to $4,800 + Transport Allowance* + Bonus

Job Responsibilities

• Support the sourcing, evaluation and appointment of contractors and consultants, including scope clarification and work package preparation.
• Coordinate with internal engineering, operations, project management and other relevant teams to ensure designs meet project requirements and cost objectives.
• Manage project documentation, including drawings, risk assessments, work procedures and other relevant technical records.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants and clients to plan critical work activities and minimise potential delays to project completion.
• Monitor day-to-day site activities, including work progress, manpower deployment and subcontractor performance.
• Monitor quality, safety and compliance requirements throughout project execution.
• Assist in monitoring project costs, including progress claims, construction expenses and variation orders.
• Prepare and submit regular project progress reports to management.
• Coordinate and participate in project progress meetings with relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure construction activities are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and contractual requirements.
• Support project commissioning and handover activities, ensuring all contractual and project requirements are fulfilled.
• Perform other project-related duties as assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

• At least a Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas industry, especially in EPC projects preferred.
• Experience working with or managing contractors/ subcontractors is preferred.
