Job summary

THE SUPREME HR ADVISORY PTE. LTD. is seeking a Construction Engineer for our Tuas site. The role supports managers in sourcing contractors, clarifying work scopes, and evaluating proposals to meet project requirements.

You will coordinate with OPS, ENG, PSM, EHS, and contractors to ensure design meets cost targets and client specs, while maintaining site safety, documentation, and progress reporting. Basic salary ranges from S$4,300 to S$4,800 per month with standard Mon-Fri hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering or equivalent required.
• Experience in oil & gas industries, especially EPC projects preferred.
• Past contractor partners' working experiences and/or managing contractor partners as main contractor would be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Manager on contractors/consultants sourcing, inquiry package issuing, work scope clarification, and evaluation & selection.
• Coordinate with OPS, ENG, PSM, EHS and contractors/consultants to meet cost targets and client requirements.
• Handle issued drawings, MSRA, SWP to ensure proper project documentation management.
• Plan ahead with contractors/consultants and PMC to avoid delays to mechanical completion.
• Manage day-to-day site operations, supervise progress and subcontractor work.
• Oversee quality control and health and safety on site.
• Assist in monitoring construction costs, progress billing and variation orders.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management.
• Coordinate weekly/monthly progress meetings with all parties.
• Ensure adherence to tender drawings and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate project handover per SOP.

Construction Engineer

• Location: Tuas, Company Transport / Transport Allowance $120 if candidate possess own vehicle to work
• Basic: $4300 to $4800
• Working hours: Monday to Friday (8am to 5pm)

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering or any other equivalent engineering related qualification
• Experience in oil & gas industries, especially in EPC projects preferred
• Past contractor partners' working experiences and/or managing contractor partners as main contractor, would be preferred.
• At least 2-years related experience

Responsibilities

• Support Manager on contractors/consultants sourcing, inquiry package issuing, work scope clarification, and evaluation & selection.
• Coordinate with all disciplines within company (OPS, ENG, PSM, EHS etc.) and contractors/consultants, to ensure the design meets cost targets and client requirements.
• Handling of issued drawings, MSRA, SWP etc. to ensure proper project documentation management is put in place.
• Working closely with contractors/consultants, clients and/or PMC to plan ahead and schedule critical work paths in order to avoid delays or obstructions on mechanical completion.
• Day to day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the work progress, site labour force and any work of subcontractors.
• Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site.
• Assist Manager to monitor and manage the overall construction cost, including contractors/consultants progress billing, construction expenses and cost of variation order.
• Prepare and submit the weekly and monthly progress construction reports to management.
• To follow up and arrange with all parties for weekly/monthly progress meeting.
• Ensure project execution adheres to the tender drawings.
• Coordinate with contractors/consultants and the client throughout project commissioning stage to ensure compliance with the contractual performance bond requirements.
• Coordinate the project handover in accordance with the Project Development SOP.
• To undertake any other duties that may be assigned to you by the Management, from time to time.
