Job summary

STEEL TEK PTE. LTD. is seeking a capable Project Coordinator to support construction and fit-out tasks in Singapore. You will coordinate site activities, liaise with clients, consultants, and suppliers, and assist the Project Manager in planning and execution to ensure timely completion.

The role requires familiarity with construction drawings, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in MS Office; AutoCAD knowledge is a plus, and a Class 3 driving licence is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Building, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in construction, renovation, interior fit-out, or related industry (entry-level candidates may be considered).
• Familiar with construction drawings and project documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Possess strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Class 3 driving licence is an advantage but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor project progress and site activities.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and authorities.
• Prepare project schedules, reports, meeting minutes, and documentation.
• Assist Project Manager in planning, execution, and completion of projects.
• Coordinate material deliveries and manpower deployment.
• Monitor project timelines and ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements.
• Prepare and submit progress claims, variation orders, and project documentation.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate follow-up actions.
• Maintain proper filing of project records and correspondence.
