Job summary

Hong Kui Engineering PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the Project Manager in coordinating management activities for smooth project execution.

You will assist with shop drawings, risk assessments, and safety compliance while coordinating site tasks and QA/QC records. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• Experience in construction project coordination or similar role.
• Knowledge of construction safety practices and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Attend external project kick-off meetings, meetings with consultants as well as technical and coordination meetings, daily project meetings and internal project closure meeting.
• Assist Project Manager in carrying out all shop drawings and submission with Drafting Department.
• Assist Project Manager in carrying out risk assessment and other risk management activities.
• Make recommendations on risk control measures; communicate risk assessment to all workers.
• Ensure all contractors are safety inducted and issued with Permit before work commencement.
• Ensure the adherence to the safe work procedure (SWP) established; inform project manager or project director of any shortcoming in the SWP or risk control measures implemented.
• Resolve site problems proactively in a timely manner and seek advice from Project Manager as appropriate.
• Ensure the timely preparation of project progress and other reports.
• Follow up on all aspects of QA/QC matters; record all defects works and ensure proper documentation.
• Co-ordinate daily activities of workers' duties and ensure that they are performed in a proper manner.
