Job summary

HAO HONG CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a diligent Project Coordinator to assist the Project Manager in coordinating construction activities on-site.

You will attend kick-off meetings, liaise with consultants, draft shop drawings, assess risks, and ensure safety inductions and permits are in place. The role also covers documentation, progress reporting, QA/QC, and cost-control tasks. Strong structural experience and proactive problem solving are valued, with a focus on timely communication

Responsibilities

• Assists Project Manager in the co-ordination of project management activities to ensure projects are executed smoothly.
• Attends external project kick-off meetings, meetings with consultants and internal project meetings.
• Assists in producing shop drawings and submissions with Drafting Department.
• Assists in risk assessment and risk management, and communicates measures to workers.
• Ensures safety inductions for all contractors and issue permits before work.
• Follows safe work procedures and reports any shortfalls.
• Familiarizes with the scope of works.
• Resolves site problems proactively and seeks guidance from PM.
• Prepares project progress and other reports in a timely manner.
• Assists in QA/QC, records defects and maintains documentation.
• Coordinates daily activities of workers to ensure proper performance.
• Conducts daily checks on progress, housekeeping and safety with safety personnel.
• Assists in cost control by reducing wastage and labour costs.
• Contributes to Mass Tool Box meetings with safety personnel.
• Ensures proper project documentation including email communications.
• Promotes teamwork and morale; strong in structural work.
