Qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in the construction or interior design industry.
• Knowledge on procurement processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook (Email) and basic knowledge in ERP is an advantage
• Organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Procurement & Logistics Officer in purchasing and ensuring timely delivery of general and bulk materials used in projects.
• Review purchasing arrangements with suppliers including price, delivery, performance and discounts to reduce costs; monitor and report material cost fluctuations to the Quantity Surveyor.
• Monitor and control material budget, quantities and wastages; coordinate with project team on leasing/rental of machinery and purchasing materials/equipment; report usage.
• Negotiate with suppliers and vendors.
• Enter inventory and procurement data into the ERP system and maintain approved supplier/vendor lists.
• Process and certify debit and credit notes for supplier materials; reconcile invoices and process backcharges to subcontractors.
• Manage and monitor main store and site store inventory through auditing.
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures.
• Prepare procurement transaction reports for management if needed.
• Maintain store inventory updates regularly.
• Contribute to the effectiveness of the Integrated Management System (IMS).
• Perform other duties assigned by Senior Procurement & Logistics Officer and Management.
