Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years of purchasing or procurement experience.
• Experience in construction or engineering industry is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Source and liaise with suppliers to obtain materials, products, and services at competitive prices.
• Request quotations, compare prices, and assist in negotiating pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders and follow up closely on order status and delivery arrangements.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to support project and operational needs.
• Check supplier invoices against supporting documents such as Purchase Requisition, PO, and DO before submitting to Finance.
• Coordinate local and overseas delivery, shipment, and logistics arrangements when required.
• Maintain proper records of purchases, supplier information, quotations, and procurement documents.
• Work closely with internal departments, project teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure smooth procurement operations.
• Perform other administrative or ad-hoc duties as assigned.
