Job summary

LINKS HR SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to oversee all construction activities, ensuring compliance with drawings, codes and standards, and driving improvements.

You will manage contractors, coordinate with engineering, develop policies, and lead a diverse team to deliver on time and within budget. Candidates should have a Master or Bachelor's in Engineering and at least 5 years of construction experience, with proficiency in MS Office, MS Project,

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of construction experience.
• Experience in marine construction is favorable.
• Proficient with engineering drawings, codes and standards.
• Strong leadership and people management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for all construction activities with regard to performance, procedure, and recommending improvements to project managers.
• Manage contractors with focus on quality, compliance with drawings, codes, standards, and construction schedule and cost.
• Interface and coordinate with engineering supporting construction activities.
• Assist in developing and implementing corporate construction policies that support project construction.
• Oversee the effective management of project activities to assure timely delivery and low wastage.
• Manage and lead a group of engineers.
• Coordinate with other departments on issues affecting project works.
• Liaise with government/statutory authorities, consultants, clients, suppliers, etc.
• Provide timely project progress reporting to management and attending project execution meetings.
• Select, guide and develop a multicultural labour force & management team with construction responsibilities.
• Ensure Quality Assurance and ISO Standards are met on all construction related activities.
• Allocate capital and Human Resources to maximize productivity.
• Other ad-hoc duties required to carry out.

Requirement

• Possess excellent interpersonal skills/people management skills, goodcommunication skills and negotiation skills and possess strong leadershipqualities.
• Efficient, good analytical skills and able to work independently.
• Proven track records of successful project completion on time and on budget orexceeding expectations will be well regards.
• Master or Degree in Engineering or equivalent, recognized universities underthe BCA is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction experience. A field in marineconstruction company is favorable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project, Primavera and AutoCad.
