Job summary

YENG TONG CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking an experienced site project lead to coordinate civil, structural and MEP works on marine construction projects. You will interpret drawings, resolve discrepancies and ensure works are delivered on time and to client specifications.

You will plan, schedule, monitor and control activities, lead supervisors and workers, and manage end-to-end delivery with defined project scope and detailed plans.

Qualifications

• Leadership and communication abilities to influence and guide teams.
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret drawings and identify discrepancies.
• Diploma/degree/master in Civil & Engineering or equivalent; quantity surveying skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of supervisors to execute works on site per client requirements.
• Plan, schedule, monitor and coordinate civil and marine construction activities.
• Interpret drawings and resolve discrepancies across trades.
• Ensure timely project completion and provide regular updates to management.
• Manage end-to-end delivery through defined project scope and detailed plans.
• Handle multiple projects concurrently.

Job Description

• Attend meetings with client, consultants & subcontractor to ensure that all project requirements are compiled and executed accordingly.
• Able to interpret drawing and identify discrepancy within all trades and come out with a solution.
• Be responsible for the planning, scheduling, monitoring, controlling and coordination of works and ensure timely completion.
• Lead a team of supervisors / workers to carry out their works accurately and timely to ensure that works on site are carried out according to client requirement.
• Manage end to end delivery of project through defined project scope, detailed project plan & seek stakeholder’s agreement for sign-off.
• Track project status to ensure delivery is on track and provide regular project updates to management.
• Handle a few minor projects concurrently.
• Be responsible for the planning, scheduling, controlling and coordinating of building services related works in terms of preventive / breakdown / A&A works.
• Good knowledge and experience in building related works such as civil engineering, structural, architectural, building repair, piling, A&A, plumbing works etc.
• Other ad-hoc duties as per assigned.

Requirements

• Possess excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills and a leader to influence.
• Efficient, Good Analytical Skills and Able to work independently.
• Diploma/Degree/Master in Civil & Engineering or equivalent, recognized universities under the BCA, possess quantity surveying skills is a plus.
• Experience in a marine construction company is favorable, however, fresh graduates may apply.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project and AutoCad.
• Able to start work immediately.
