Job summary

QUAN HAO ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced construction leader to manage end-to-end construction, renovation and fit-out projects for company properties in Singapore.

You will oversee site execution, progress, quality, safety, budget, subcontractors and regulatory compliance to deliver projects on time and within budget. The role involves planning and scheduling works, reviewing drawings and specifications, coordinating with consultants and authorities, managing costs and ensuring

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and monitor construction/renovation/fit-out works; prepare programme and progress reports.
• Review architectural and M&E drawings, specifications and material schedules; coordinate design clarifications & variation orders.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors and suppliers; coordinate site meetings and resolve on-site issues.
• Control project cost, review progress claims and variation quotations; monitor budget to avoid overruns.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore building regulations, SCDF, BCA requirements, and workplace safety (WSH) rules.
• Conduct site quality control, material inspection, testing, defects rectification and handover documentation.
• Liaise with consultants, authorities, tenants and stakeholders throughout construction and defect liability period.
• Maintain construction records, site diaries, contracts and project documentation.
• Identify project risks and prepare mitigation plans.

Job Summary

Responsible for end-to-end construction, renovation and fit-out project management for company properties. Oversee site execution, progress, quality, safety, budget, subcontractors and regulatory compliance to deliver projects on time, within budget and meet design & local building requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plan, schedule and monitor construction / renovation / fit-out works; prepare project programme, milestone tracking and progress reports.
2. Review architectural, M&E drawings, specifications and material schedules; conduct site inspection, coordinate design clarifications & variation orders.
3. Manage subcontractors, vendors and suppliers; coordinate site meetings, resolve on-site technical issues and work conflicts.
4. Control project cost, review progress claims, variation quotations and monitor budget to avoid cost overrun.
5. Ensure full compliance with Singapore building regulations, SCDF, BCA requirements, workplace safety (WSH) rules and site safety standards. Conduct regular safety inspection, risk assessment and implement corrective actions.
6. Manage site quality control, material inspection, testing, defects rectification, inspection handover, commissioning and as-built documentation.
7. Liaise with consultants, authorities, tenants and stakeholders throughout construction and defect liability period.
8. Maintain construction records, site diaries, contracts, correspondences and project documentation.
9. Identify project risks, prepare mitigation plan and manage construction claims.
