Job summary

DB&B PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Construction Manager to turn sets of drawings and tight handover dates into a completed interior fit-out that clients can walkthrough with pride.

You will review BOQs, drawings, and method statements, build a realistic schedule, and lead site operations while ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery. Collaboration with designers, project managers, and factory teams is essential to deliver on paper-to-build accuracy.

Qualifications

• Background in building or construction management, civil or structural engineering, or adjacent.
• Proven track record running construction on corporate interior fit-out or general building projects.
• Able to read drawings and BOQs and translate into actionable schedules.
• Strong knowledge of BCA and WSH requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review BOQs, drawings, and method statements to avoid surprises.
• Build and manage construction schedule and keep tasks moving daily.
• Oversee site operations, enforce schedule and quality.
• Coordinate with designers, project managers, and factory managers to ensure build aligns with plans.
• Maintain site safety and ensure SOPs are followed.
• Conduct site walks at pre-construction, progress checks, handover, and defects to catch issues early.
• Support team as needed.
• Complete ISO forms on time.

DB&B has been designing and building award-winning offices across Asia for almost three decades, with an in-house production facility here in Singapore and sister offices from Shanghai to Manila. We're looking for a Construction Manager who can take a full set of drawings and a tight handover date and turn them into a site we're proud to walk clients through.

What you'll do

• Go through every BOQ, drawing and method statement properly, so nothing catches you off guard once work starts.
• Build a schedule that actually holds up, and keep tasks moving day to day.
• Run site operations, hold subcontractors to the schedule and to DB&B's quality bar.
• Work closely with designers, project managers and factory managers so what's on paper gets built the way it was meant to.
• Keep the site safe, clean and efficient, and make sure DB&B's SOPs are followed properly, not just on paper.
• Walk the site at every stage, pre-construction, progress checks, handover, defects, and catch problems early rather than late.
• Back up the rest of the team wherever an extra pair of hands is needed.
• Get ISO forms done and submitted on time, every time.
