Job summary

Oneglobal Broking Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Manager, Construction Insurance to lead and manage CAR, EAR, and related construction insurance programmes for clients across the construction and engineering sectors. You will be responsible for client servicing, insurance programme design, market negotiations, and placement of complex risks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in construction insurance broking or underwriting.
• Strong knowledge of CAR, EAR, liability, DSU, and related engineering insurance products.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Professional insurance qualifications (ANZIIF, ACII) will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of construction and engineering insurance clients.
• Design, structure, and place CAR, EAR, Third Party Liability, DSU, and related programmes.
• Liaise with insurers and reinsurers for competitive terms and coverage.
• Review contracts, tender requirements, and project specs to identify insurance needs.
• Prepare submissions, placement slips, policy comparisons, and renewal strategies.
• Negotiate policy terms, conditions, and premiums.
• Provide technical advice on construction risk management and insurance matters.
• Assist in claims coordination with clients and insurers.
• Develop strong relationships with insurers, clients, contractors, consultants, and project owners.
• Support business development initiatives and new opportunities.
