Job summary

AMTSOL seeks an experienced Construction Health, Safety & Wellbeing SME to lead regional H&S activities across Singapore and support global projects. You will ensure compliance with local laws, oversee contractor safety performance, and drive safety improvements on site.

The role requires a strong background in construction H&S, knowledge of GMP/cleanroom environments, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders to promote a safe work culture.

Qualifications

• Proven Health & Safety experience in project construction environments.
• Full and detailed knowledge of relevant Safety, Health & Environment legislation.
• Capability to manage cross-building interfaces during projects.
• Specialist Diploma in WSH is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Construction Health, Safety & Wellbeing SME capabilities for regional portfolios.
• Provide assurance on client duties and H&SW programmes during execution.
• Ensure contractors have competent H&S&W resources and monitor performance.
• Ensure contractors develop compliant construction phase plans and programmes.
• Collaborate on H&S&W and cultural continuous improvement with contractors.
• Clarify duty holders and transfers between client and contractors, including temporary facilities.
• Implement drug and alcohol testing procedures in line with local restrictions.
• Oversee incident reporting and investigations with root-cause analysis input.
• Maintain project H&S dashboards and monthly reporting to Global SHE.
• Create and share Global SHE alerts and embed learnings across portfolios.
• Be a core member of regional construction SHE networks and align practices.
• Collaborate with local site SHE leadership teams.
• Support development of H&S & W leadership skills across teams.
• Conduct monthly contractor audits as assigned.
• Record EHS observations in PM Vitals and close actions timely.
