Responsibilities

Oversee the company's full set of accounts and day-to-day accounting operations.
Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements and reports.
Monitor financial performance, revenue, expenses, profitability and cash flow.
Prepare financial analyses and provide recommendations for decision-making.
Prepare annual budgets, forecasts and cash-flow projections.
Monitor actual performance against budget and investigate variances.
Monitor financial performance of construction projects and advise on cost control.
Work with Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors on project cost control and forecasting.
Review project commitments, subcontractor costs and other expenditures.
Identify financial risks and advise Management on mitigations.
Assist in evaluating financial implications of tenders, contracts and major variations.
Coordinate with auditors, tax agents and advisers to ensure timely statutory reporting.
Develop and improve internal controls and financial procedures.
Lead and develop the Finance & Accounts team and train accounting staff.
