Job summary

GOODLAND DEVELOPMENT PTE LTD. is seeking an experienced finance professional to manage day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

You will prepare timely financial reports, perform variance analysis, cash flow projections, and annual budgets to support strategic decisions. You will handle consolidated financial statements for the group, oversee month-end and year-end closings, and lead a finance team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
• Experience in handling full set of accounts.
• At least 3 years’ experience in construction/real estate is a plus.
• Self-motivated, results oriented and multi-task.
• Familiar with Accpac Accounting software preferred.
• Meticulous with a flair for figures, independent & organized, team player, with initiative & resourceful.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly financial reports, variance analysis, cash flow projections and annual budgets.
• Provide timely financial information to support decision-making across the organisation.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and group reporting.
• Manage month-end and year-end closings with internal controls.
• Oversee project accounting, including job costing, budgeting and WIP reporting.
• Monitor budgets, cost control, and variance analysis for projects.
• Ensure GST and other statutory filings are prepared and submitted.
• Lead and mentor the finance team and drive process improvements.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, and bankers as required.
• Liaise with departments to gather data for costs, revenue and balance sheet accounts.
