Job summary

Government Technology Agency (GovTech) in Singapore seeks a Constituency Master Planner to co-lead community initiatives, strengthening People-Government-People connectivity. You will engage GROs, community centres, and residents to build a cohesive, harmonious neighbourhood.

You will guide Grassroots Leaders, volunteers, and partners while coordinating programmes across Wellness, Preparedness, Sports, Integration, Family Life, and Youth to broaden outreach and deepen engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience in community development, grassroots work, social services, or related field.
• Ability to supervise staff and volunteers, coach and motivate teams.
• Strong communication skills to translate government policies for residents.
• Capacity to manage multiple programs and priorities.
• Comfort in engaging diverse stakeholders and partners.
• Resilience in changing ground conditions with a results focus.
• Nice-to-have: second language proficiency (Malay, Tamil, or Chinese dialect).

Responsibilities

• Co-lead constituency planning and GRO development with Adviser and Grassroots Leaders to align with national objectives.
• Guide and develop Grassroots Leaders and volunteers; recruit, train, and manage GRO volunteers.
• Drive community outreach through wellness, preparedness, sports, integration, family life and youth programs.
• Strengthen Government-to-people communications; gather feedback to support policy communication.
• Provide governance direction for monthly CCC and CCMC meetings.
• Oversee constituency office administration and financial governance in line with rules.
• Build and sustain partnerships with community stakeholders and religious organizations.
• Lead and develop Constituency Office staff to ensure quality service delivery.
