Job summary
Sika Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a qualified professional to lead laboratory trials, run applications, and organize a dedicated team for daily operations. You will provide technical support to customers, evaluate raw materials, and collaborate with sales to meet concrete product requirements.
Flexibility to work after hours and travel is required. Requirements include a degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, at least 5 years in a lab, and 5 years in a technical support role in
Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years in a laboratory environment dealing with construction chemicals.
- At least 5 years in a technical support role related to the construction chemical industry.
- Experience in ready mix concrete industry is an added advantage.
Responsibilities
- Lead laboratory trials and organize team resources daily.
- Provide technical support to customers and troubleshoot issues.
- Support sales strategy with technical inputs and product performance analysis.
- Supervise and guide team members with planning and prioritization.
- Maintain documentation of test results and reporting to supervisor.
- Interface with sales/marketing for product training and customer needs.
