Job summary

MDI FORTUNE PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a dedicated Meal Service Attendant to ensure patients receive nutritious meals on time with care and compassion.

You will update meal requirements in the Meal Ordering System, prepare and distribute meals, collect trays, and maintain high hygiene standards across ward areas. Training is provided, and opportunities for career growth exist in the healthcare sector.

Qualifications

• Secondary N level education or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a caring attitude.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices (training provided).
• Vaccinations required to meet the hospital's employment criteria.

Responsibilities

• Update patient's meal requirements in the Meal Ordering System.
• Prepare and distribute meals to patients.
• Collect and clean meal trays, maintaining high hygiene standards.
• Preparation and serving of adhoc beverages, snacks and supper.
• General maintenance and stocking of ward pantry (includes wipe down of ward trolleys).
• Gather patient feedback and attend to patients' feedback on meal related issue.
• Any other related work scope as required.
