Public Service Division is seeking an engaged officer to collaborate with residents and partners to strengthen community connectedness and support government-to-people initiatives.

The role involves planning GRO-level activities, coordinating volunteers, and managing communications across social media in alignment with guidelines. Offices require strong written and verbal skills and experience in diverse community outreach.

Qualifications

• Experience in community engagement or people-facing roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities across diverse groups.
• Familiarity with social media platforms for community outreach is a plus.
• Nice-to-have: proficiency in a second language to engage diverse residents.

Responsibilities

• Engage residents and community partners to understand ground needs and co-create programmes.
• Plan and execute community activities and nationwide campaigns to widen outreach.
• Coordinate volunteers and GRO members in line with GRO Rules & Regulations.
• Attend GRO meetings and provide administrative and progress reports.
• Manage GROs’ social media and develop compliant communications materials.
• Ensure financial management, budgeting, and procurement processes are followed.
• Maintain records and data in accordance with data protection policies.
