Job summary

NTUC Health Co-operative Limited in Singapore invites applications for a Community Care Programmes Intern to support resident engagement, programme coordination and community initiatives, with potential involvement in volunteer engagement and end-of-life companionship.

No prior healthcare experience is required; training and mentorship will be provided. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to enhance seniors' well-being and gain hands-on experience in community care.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Allied Health, Social Work, Psychology, Gerontology, Healthcare Management, Community Services or other related disciplines.
• Passionate about serving seniors and the community.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Compassionate, proactive and a collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of resident programmes, activities and community events.
• Engage and provide companionship to seniors through meaningful interactions and activities.
• Assist with programme logistics, volunteer coordination and administrative support.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to enhance residents' well-being and experience.
• Observe residents' well-being and elevate concerns to staff when appropriate.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with organisational policies and volunteer guidelines.
