Job summary

The role focuses on analyzing contracts, ensuring accurate execution, and coordinating with traders across multiple commodity lines to optimize positions and compliance.

With strong knowledge of shipping terms, LC, and credit controls, you will support handling loading/discharging operations, storage, and related documentation while maintaining tight

Qualifications

• Minimum degree holder with a professional qualification being helpful.
• Strong knowledge of contractual terms (shipping, credit and LC terms).
• Experience in handling multiple loading/discharging and STS operations is preferred.
• Ability to cross-check documents against LC and documentary instructions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze/check/compare purchase and sales contracts and advise on amendments in a timely manner.
• Highlight ambiguous or illogical terms to traders.
• Ensure timely and accurate execution of contract terms and options.
• Update shipment spreadsheets and storage inventory promptly.
• Coordinate with traders on timing, ETA, and laycans.
• Manage insurance claims and coordination with Insurance Department.
• Handle credit-related activities and cost provisions affecting P&L.
