Job summary

Marlin Selection is recruiting a Middle Office Analyst for its Commodities Desk in Singapore. You will support daily commodity trading operations and the full trade lifecycle while building strong relationships with Portfolio Managers and providing them with timely support.

The ideal candidate will have 2–3+ years in commodity markets in a Middle Office or Trade Support role, with hands-on experience in ETRMs and major systems, and a strong focus on reconciliations and compliance in onshore

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of experience in commodity markets in a Middle Office or Trade Support role.
• Experience using ETRMs and major trading systems (TT, WebICE, ClearPort, SGX, EEX).
• Familiar with exchanges and data platforms (ICE, Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Openlink Endur).
• Experience with trade, position, and valuation reconciliations involving clearing houses, brokers, fund administrators, and other counterparties.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills
• Experience with onshore China exchanges and commodity compliance

Responsibilities

• Support daily commodity trading operations and the end-to-end trade lifecycle.
• Build relationships with Portfolio Managers and provide ongoing support.
• Collaborate with traders and operations to ensure accurate reconciliations and data integrity.

Our client a global commodity trading business, are looking to a hire a Middle Office Analyst in on their Commodities Desk in Singapore

You will be supporting the daily commodity trading operations and the whole trade life cycle, alongside building relationships with the Portfolio Managers and providing them support.

For this role you will need the following experience:

1. 2–3+ years of experience in commodity markets, in a Middle Office or Trade Support position.
2. Experience using ETRMs and systems such as TT, WebICE, ClearPort, SGX, EEX, Trayport, ICE, Bloomberg, Refinitiv, and Openlink Endur.
3. Experience with trade, position, and valuation reconciliations involving clearing houses, brokers, fund administrators, and other counterparties.
