Job summary

Mercuria is seeking a Structured Finance Manager to support deal execution across origination, structuring, syndication, and distribution regionally. The role covers financing solutions against physical commodity flows and related assets, including prepayment/PXF, bridge loans, and acquisition financing.

Ideal candidates have 6–10 years in structured trade finance or related fields, strong drafting/negotiation skills, and the ability to coordinate between banks, lenders, and internal

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in finance, law, economics, or related field.
• Fluent in English; reading Chinese documents is a plus.
• Experience in structured trade finance, corporate banking, commodity finance, treasury, or related financial services.

Responsibilities

• Structure and execute financing solutions against physical commodity offtake or assets (prepayment/PXF, bridge loans, acquisition financing).
• Lead or support syndication and distribution to banks and private credit lenders.
• Lead bilateral trade financing facilities with banks across Asia and China, including structuring and negotiating agreements.
• Draft and negotiate term sheets, facility agreements, and security documents with external counsel.
• Monitor covenants, drawdowns, and ongoing facility administration.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders and external parties throughout deal execution.
