Job summary

Kopifellas® is expanding its kitchen operations in Singapore and seeks a positive individual who loves creating delicious food and spreading good feelings. You will play a key support role in our kitchen, performing mise en place, cooking to recipe standards, managing stock, and upholding strict hygiene and safety.

Candidate should have at least 3 years of kitchen experience, be able to read and communicate in English and Mandarin, and work well under supervision.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
• At least 3 years of kitchen experience in a traditional-style establishment.
• Ability to follow SOP and standardized recipes precisely.
• Good hygiene and safety awareness.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to converse and read in English and/or Mandarin to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

• Perform mise en place to ensure readiness (washing, cutting, marinating, portioning).
• Prepare and cook food items according to standard recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency.
• Manage stock levels, check raw ingredient freshness, and ensure proper rotation.
• Handle, store, temperature control and allergen management of food items.
• Maintain hygiene standards of kitchen, workstations and equipment.
• Assist in cashiering, taking orders, serving food and drinks to customers.
• Support ad hoc duties as required by Company.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and Company SOP at all times.
• Execute duties with diligence, ownership, and integrity.

About the Role

We are looking for a positive individual who passionately loves to spread good feelings via preparation of delicious food. You will play a key support role in our kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform mise en place to ensure readiness (eg. washing, cutting, marinating, portioning etc)
• Prepare and cook food items according to standard recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency

• Proper handling, storage, temperature control and allergen management of food items
• Maintain strict hygiene and cleanliness standards of kitchen, workstations and equipment
• Assist in other related operations such as cashiering, taking orders, serving food and drinks to customers
• Support ad hoc duties as required by Company
• Adhere strictly to food safety regulations and Company SOP at all times.
• Execute all duties related to the role with due diligence, ownership, and integrity
