Job summary

AZBIL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks a proactive Quantity Surveyor with strong experience in contract administration and VO management to protect project value. You will handle contractual matters, evaluate claims, and negotiate variations with clients and consultants.

Ideal candidates have a diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying or related field, at least 3 years in construction, and solid knowledge of cost control. Proficiency in Excel and sharp negotiation skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction or engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and cost control principles.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Preferably with experience in building/civil/infrastructure/M&E projects.

Responsibilities

• Administer contracts and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Prepare, submit, and negotiate Variation Orders (VOs) with clients and consultants.
• Evaluate subcontractor VO submissions and claims.
• Lead negotiations to secure entitlement for additional costs and time extensions.
• Prepare contractual correspondence including notices, claims, and rebuttals.
• Monitor project changes and documentation for claims and VOs.
• Prepare interim payment claims and evaluate payment certifications.
• Support dispute resolution and assist in adjudication or arbitration.
• Advise project team on contractual rights and obligations.
